Dining Experience
When we arrived at Púsù, we were immediately captivated by its stunning architectural design and unique ambiance. The exterior has a distinctive wooden panel aesthetic, while the interior exudes elegance and sophistication, reminding me of a conceptual museum.
However, one aspect that detracted from the overall experience was the slits in the walls, allowing light to filter through and creating a visually appealing effect.
Unfortunately, during the winter months, these slits also allowed cold drafts to permeate the dining area, resulting in a somewhat chilly atmosphere.
While the restaurant provided small portable heaters to mitigate the cold, it was still a minor inconvenience that impacted our dining experience.
Despite this drawback, our interactions with the staff were delightful, and we were greeted with warm hospitality upon arrival. The menu at Púsù offered a diverse array of vegetarian dishes, showcasing the culinary expertise of head chef Owen Liu. From traditional Chinese favorites to innovative creations, there was something to tantalize every palate. While the cold weather limited our ability to try their enticing cocktails, we look forward to returning when the weather is warmer to fully explore their menu.

Highlighted Dishes
For appetizers, we tried the Crispy Broccoli and Vegetable Wontons.
The Crispy Broccoli ($14) was a great start to our meal. Each floret was perfectly fried to crispy perfection, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite. The accompanying dried onion on the side which you can dip your broccoli provides a burst of flavor.
The Vegetable Wontons ($12) was a refreshing twist on a classic favorite. Filled with a savory mixture of vegetables and spices, each wonton packed a punch of flavor.
Moving on to our entree, we decided to try the Crispy Tofu Popcorn ($16).
We were surprised by the unique presentation of the dish, with each piece of tofu shaped into round nuggets instead of the regular tofu squares.
When biting into the tofu, the crispy exterior and the soft and tender interior made it melt in your mouth.
There’s dipping sauce on the side which provides a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, enhancing the overall experience.
We ordered the Black Truffle Fried Rice ($20) to complement our meal. This dish was a true standout, with delicious truffle-infused throughout each grain of rice.
Finally, no meal at Púsù would be complete without a bowl of their Hot & Sour Soup ($12).
This classic dish was the perfect remedy for the chilly weather, warming us from the inside out. The bold flavors of the soup, with its spicy and tangy notes, provided a comforting and satisfying end to our dining experience.
