Contrary to what a Google 1-star rating might suggest — Bar Sloth is a hidden gem in Taichung, and my visit was nothing short of amazing. Even though we didn’t get the chance to meet the wonderful owner of Bar Sloth, the service and vibes still exceeded all of our expectations.

The bartenders working that night were both friendly & fun — they even had amazing drink recommendations for us.
The centerpiece was a delightful bowl of alcohol adorned with flowers and fresh fruits — a visual treat. Complimentary shots and shared moments with the bartenders added to the overall experience.
I highly recommend Bar Sloth for anyone looking for a unique night experience. The interior ambiance, adorned with faux greenery and charming rattan lights, creates a cozy atmosphere.
With both indoor and outdoor seating options, accompanied by adorable sloth plushies for photo ops, this bar guarantees a memorable and fun time.
